As the eyes and ears for our engineers and construction management professionals, our inspectors are experienced with federal, state, and local requirements and have the necessary certifications and training to ensure compliance and the safety of the community. They proactively coordinate with the contractor and our public service agencies to ensure that concerns are addressed and requirements are met.
Albat offers a range of services to help our public partners manage their capital programs. Serving as an extension of our client’s staff, our program and project management team provides expertise in handling constructability reviews and value engineering, contract management and bid management, construction administration, and quality management.
Source inspection ensures materials fabricated off-site arrive at the jobsite as intended. Our engineers and inspectors are multi-disciplined and certified in many areas including precast concrete fabrication, structural steel fabrication and structural steel coating. The experience and certifications allow Albat to be in a unique position to offer source inspection services to clients for federal aid and Caltrans oversight contracts that require these special inspections. Albat is experienced in the use of all construction materials including submittal reviews for quality management, shop drawings, concrete and materials submittals as well as the evaluation of materials for substitutions and the evaluation of new materials for use on projects.
