Albat is a DBE/SBE firm specializing in construction management and inspection services. We pride ourselves in creating close-knit relationships within our team and giving back to our communities.

At Albat, we serve and give back to our communities by providing high-quality services for infrastructure development, expansion and maintenance. We maintain that while being true to ourselves we are able to best support the vision of each of our public partners. Our team is bold, we take the initiative to do what is right even in challenging project circumstances. We uphold a thorough knowledge of every aspect of our work. Above all, we believe that collaboration is key and that by working together and building trust we can keep projects moving forward at the highest level of quality.

Our Team

Tatevik Janvelyan, PE

Tatevik is the founder and President of Albat, who she named after her grandfathers-- Albert and Batem. Her vision for the firm is to create an environment where staff feel supported to improve their skills and grow as individuals, while becoming a firm that is relied upon by both prime consultants and public agency owners.

Tatevik has diverse experience ranging from working with owners in a program management capacity, materials engineering, contracts and procurement to construction management and inspection. She has had the pleasure of working on several large projects including the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, and the California High-Speed Rail Program as well as smaller local agency projects improving roadways and pathways for communities and residents across northern California.

Justin Palmaymesa, PE

Justin is the Vice President and brings a lifetime of construction experience to Albat. He has been actively involved in construction projects since his youth and maintains a balanced passion for personal growth and client satisfaction. He is dedicated to the success of people and projects.

Justin began his transportation career fabricating structural precast products for projects across the state of California and transitioned to providing support to agencies for materials engineering and project delivery. His experience is one of a bottom-up approach providing services at every level of project delivery. He has worked in design, quality management, materials, structures and roadway and prides himself on his knowledge of inspection work as well as project management.
